Danny Joe Holland

Danny Joe Holland of Hanover, IL (67), was born February 9, 1956, in Savanna, IL, to Herman and Stella (Girot) Holland, and passed away from natural causes on April 18, 2023. Dan attended school in Elizabeth, IL and retired from Kelly Springfield after 20+ years.

Anyone who knew Dan, knew he was a free spirit, he loved his girls, his grandkids (he spoke of them often), his special friends, Heather, Dave, Bain and Bunny and his family. He enjoyed camping and riding his Harley until it got too big for him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Stella Holland and his brother Wayne Holland. He is survived by his grandkids; Kaige Brown, Ethan Stotler and Emily Stotler, his daughters; Stacy (Dan) Lieb, Bobbie Jo (James) Landrith and Allyson (Quinton) Stage, his siblings; Gary Holland, Randy (Darcy) Holland, Ranee (Jeff) Dauphin and Brian (Debbie Hoppman) Holland and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

There will be a graveside service on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Evergreen Cemetery in Hanover. All are invited to meet at Law Jones Funeral Home in Hanover at 1 p.m. We will then process to the cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Following the graveside service, a celebration of life luncheon will be held at the Hanover VFW from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. for all family and friends.
