Connie Stoddard

Connie Jo Stoddard, age 59, of Savanna, Illinois, went Home to be with her Lord Sunday, January 13, 2008 at the Mercy Hospital – North Campus in Clinton, Iowa. According to her wishes, Connie will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Good Shepherd Victory Center in Clinton.

Connie Jo Nielsen was born September 16, 1948, in Clinton, the daughter of Richard and Leona (Domsalla) Nielsen. She attended school in Clinton and graduated from Camanche High School. Connie was married to Micheal Stoddard Sr. of Clinton. Connie enjoyed reading and was addicted to crossword puzzles. Connie died a Christian and trusted in her faith.

Connie is survived by her sons: Jason Stoddard of Clinton, Michael Stoddard Jr. of Canton, Illinois, Chad Stoddard of Detroit, Michigan, and Shayne Stoddard of Clinton; her brother Jerry Nielsen of Savanna; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Richard Nielsen II, and her dog Champ.
