Cheryl Lynn Neill

November 25, 1955 — October 30, 2022

Cheryl “Wing” Lynn Neill, age 66, of Chadwick, IL, entered eternal life on October 30, 2022. The daughter of Raymond and Delores (Yell) Neill, Cheryl was born on November 25, 1955, in Detroit, MI. During her life, Cheryl worked at Ralph Marlin and the Milwaukee Auto Auction. Her true calling was being a passionate and loving friend, family member, and volunteer.

Cheryl is survived by her mother Delores of Chadwick. IL; her sisters Nancy Mitchell of San Diego, CA, Laurie (Buster) Baglieri of Temple City, CA, Marci Neill of Pasadena, CA, and Chas Wilson of Milwaukee, WI; her brother Daniel Neill of Temple City, CA; her nieces Whitney Mitchell, Jaemi (Rose) Lehmann, Natalee Baglieri, Jackie Wilson, Allie Wilson, and Cassie Wilson; her nephews Philip Baglieri and Johnny Wilson; her aunt Joyce (Yell) Daehler, and countless friends and extended family members. Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Raymond.

During her life, Cheryl loved music and singing along, playing cards, and simply having a good time. A 1973 graduate of Pasadena High School, she enjoyed her favorite activities most when among family and friends, and she ensured others’ comfort while doing so. Always willing and able to lend an ear, many of her loved ones relied on “Wing” for advice, guidance, and support — which she genuinely provided.

With a true servant’s heart, Cheryl volunteered at Good Samaritan Society skilled nursing facility in Mount Carroll, IL. Her servitude also brought her to the county food kitchen, church festivals, and concession stands at her nieces’ and nephew’s sporting events.

A private celebration of life will be held. Memorial donations in Cheryl’s honor can be made to Carroll County Senior Services, 17612 E. Benton Street, Mount Carroll, IL 61053. The Law-Jones Funeral Home in Mount Carroll is assisting Cheryl’s family.
