Charlotte "Sis" Miller

Charlotte A. “Sis” Miller, 95, of Iowa City, formerly of Hanover, IL, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Mercy Hospital-Hospice Care Unit.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, February 16, 2015 at Law Jones Funeral Home, 202 Monroe Street, Hanover, IL 61041. Visitation will be from 11 – 1:30 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association-Greater Illinois, American Heart Association or the Hanover Ladies Auxiliary to VFW.
Sis was born on April 22, 1919 in Hanover, IL the daughter of John and Caroline (Rall) Eadie. She was united in marriage to Jack C. Miller on November 30,1940 he preceded her in death on February 29, 1988. Sis was the office manager at the Craig Manor Housing. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Hanover and the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW.
Sis is survived by her daughter Joanne (Robert) Brady of Iowa City, and her son Robert “Pete” (Trudy) Miller of Bettendorf, IA; six grandchildren Todd (Lorraine) Brady of Chaska, MN, Scott (Michelle) Brady of Roscoe, IL, Steven (Karen) Brady of Coralville, Lori Culp, Jeff (Kathy) Miller, and Mike (Sarah) Miller all of Bettendorf, IA; sixteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Sis is preceded in death by her husband Jack Miller, two brothers Cletus and Jack Eadie, one sister Charlene Read and her parents.
