Cathy Jo "Mable" Gilbert- Eagle Koeller

Cathy Jo (Gilbert-Eagle) Koeller, “Mable”, 49, of Shannon, Illinois, died Thursday, December 15, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2011, at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna, Illinois. Following visitation, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Mable was born November 10, 1962, in Savanna, the daughter of Junior Thomas and Cecelia Mae (Parker) Gilbert. She attended Savanna High School. Mable worked as a welder for K Way in Mt. Carroll and Elkay in Savanna, and bartended at Dave’s Place in Lanark, Illinois.
Mable enjoyed being outdoors mushroom hunting, gardening, and camping. Her children and grandchildren were the most important part of her life and she spent as much time with them as she could.
Mable is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Kyle Koeller of Shannon, Illinois; two daughters, Rebecca (Brandon) Eads of Prophetstown, Illinois, and Jennifer (Brett) Leif of Lanark, Illinois; one son, Joshua Eagle of Mt. Carroll, Illinois; five grandchildren, Micheal, Chyenne, Kadin, Corbin, and Cooper; her mother, Cecelia Mae Gilbert of Savanna; eight sisters, Marilyn Altensey of Savanna, Vickie Trybus of Savanna, Karin Molinari of Rockford, Illinois, Pamela Mendez of Savanna, Doreen Miller of Savanna, Gail Ann Themas of Savanna, Kimmy Knouse of Savanna, and Cecelia Gilbert of Savanna; one brother, Thomas E. Gilbert of Mt. Carroll; and many nieces and nephews.
Mable was preceded in death by her father, Junior Thomas Gilbert; one son, Austin James Eagle; and two sisters, Claudia Ann Gilbert and Marie Sue Gilbert.
