Carol Hoge

Carol Ann Hoge age 73, of Mt. Carroll, Illinois passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at FHN Hospital in Freeport, Illinois. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Carol was born May 20, 1942 the daughter of Flavius and Mildred (Shook) Isenhart in Sterling, Illinois. Carol married the love of her life Dave Hoge in Iowa City, Iowa. She worked as a cook for the National Guard in Rockfallls, Illinois, she was the Glory of the 106th Calvary.
Carol loved all animals and wished she could have saved them all. She enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables, camping, traveling with her family cross country and visiting Yellow Stone Park, Mount Rushmore and many other places. Family was everything to Carol, she cherished the time she spent with her grandkids and great grandson.
Carol will be dearly missed by her husband, Dave; six children, Patsy (James Searcy) Hoge of Thomson, Illinois, Dave Hoge of Mt. Carroll, Paul Kuntz of Mt. Carroll, Bill (Shwana Fritzenmeier) Kuntz of Savanna, Illinois, Ike (Sue) Kuntz of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Verda (Dennis Padia) Schultz of Clinton View, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Taven, Shianne, Britteny, Kimberly Kuntz; great grandson, Connor Searcy; and a sister in-law, Catherine Fleener of Lanark, Illinois. Carol is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, George Isenhart and Bill Isenhart.
