Carl E. Paisley

Carl E. Paisley, 75, of Hanover, Illinois, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at the Morrison Community Hospital, Morrison, Illinois. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2010, at the Law – Jones Funeral Home in Hanover. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Hanover. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Carl was born November 14, 1934, in Hanover, Illinois, the son of Winfield A. and Alice T. (Millington) Paisley. Carl worked for Farrell’s Waste Management in Hanover. He was also head dishwasher at Eagle Ridge outside of Galena, Illinois. Carl was a volunteer fireman for 21 years in Hanover. He was a member of the Hanover Lion’s Club. Carl collected caps, watches and coins, and enjoyed going to yard sales and people watching.

Carl is survived by two sisters, Carol (Dale) Honerbaum of Hanover, Illinois, and Lavon Rainey of Des Moines, Iowa; one brother, Alex (Carolyn) Paisley of Dixon, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Norma Jean Dauphin; one brother, Duane Paisley; one sister – in – law, Helen Paisley; and two brothers – in – law, Dan Dauphin and Harold Rainey
