Bruce B. Larsen, age 74, of Houston, Texas passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at the St. Joseph Medical Center, Houston, Texas after a short illness. The family is planning a private memorial service in the spring at River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia, Illinois.
Bruce was born June 21, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Laurie C. and Marjorie A. (Wilson) Larsen. He is a graduate of the East Aurora High School with the Class of 1961. He then went on to attend Southern Illinois University. Bruce lived much of his life in the Houston area, working as a manager in retail sales for JC Penney. He enjoyed time with friends and family.
Bruce is survived by his brother, Lee (Sharon) Larsen of Mt. Carroll, Illinois; his sister, Karen (Kent) Brown of Foristell, Missouri; two nieces, Trisha (Chad) Cheek of Superior, Colorado and Jennifer Brown of Champaign, Illinois; and a nephew, Erik Brown of Portland, Oregon. Bruce is preceded in death by both parents.
