Brian Scott Cliff, age 49, of Celina, Texas, formerly of Hanover, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2005 in Celina after a seven year battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease. A Memorial Service will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2005 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home in Hanover, Illinois. Brian was born on October 25, 1956, the son of Harland and Audrey (Gamble) Cliff in Savanna, Illinois. He attended Hanover Schools and was a Veteran of the United States Army. Brian worked for the United States Postal Service in Rockford, Illinois. He was an avid sports fan, and he played basketball in high school. Brian enjoyed communicating with friends via the inter-net.
Brian is survived by his Mother, Audrey Mae Cliff, two brothers, Barry W. (Rose) Cliff of Dubuque, Iowa and Bruce D. (Jeri) Cliff of The Colony, Texas; two sisters, Brenda L. (Jean-Michel) Serra of Elkton, Maryland and Babette R. Cliff of North East, Maryland; one nephew; five neices and three grand neices.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, Harland W. Cliff; and grandparents.
