Brenda K. Bright

Brenda K. Bright, age 49, of Clinton, Iowa died Monday, October 3, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center, Clinton. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna with Pastor Nancy Wilkinson of the Community United Church of Christ officiating. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
Brenda was a great Friend, Aunt, Sister, Mother and Daughter. She was born on October 30, 1961 in Savanna, the daughter of Claudia Russell. Lew Dennison came into her life at the age of two and became her father. Brenda attended Savanna Schools.
Brenda was a homemaker, part owner of The Early Bird Cafe in Fulton for five years, and worked as a waitress in the area. Brenda is human and fell victim to the greatest challenges that life can hand out, she had many struggles. Brenda loved her friendships and her family. Her family appreciates the love that she was able to share.
Brenda will be dearly missed by her children, Richard Bright of Clinton, Robin Bright of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Joseph Bright of Fulton; her sister, Julie (Norris) Hartman of Fulton; and two brothers, Jeff (Lori) Dennison of Savanna and Dennis (Brenda) Kerkove of Rock Falls; a grandson, Cameron Bright; her father, Lew (Dorothy) Dennison of Savanna; a dear friend, Rachel Jones of Fulton; and many nieces and nephews. Brenda is preceded in death by her mother, Claudia; Aunts, Uncles and her grandparents.
