Bradley P. Knop, age 50, formerly of Savanna, Illinois, passed away January 4, 2016, at his residence in Freeport, Illinois after an extended illness. Cremation Rites will be accorded. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 8, 2016, at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna, Illinois, with Reverend Sejoon Jang officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. A memorial fund has been established in Bradley’s memory.
Brad was born October 4, 1965, in San-Mateo, California, the son of Edward and Connie (Dickman) Knop. He attended Savanna High School with the Class of 1983. While in school, Bradley worked at Manny’s Restaurant. After high school, Brad went into construction and worked as a carpenter, which took him to different parts of the country to places like California, Michigan, and Kansas. Brad loved spending time with his family and friends and his great sense of humor will surely be missed.
Brad is survived by a daughter, Mariah Knop of Sabula, Iowa; father, Edward Knop of Savanna; two brothers, Brady Knop of Savanna, Illinois, and Brian (Linda) Knop of Spotsylvania, Virginia; and his maternal grandmother, Lucille Dickman of Savanna, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his mother, Connie; a brother, Brandon; his maternal grandfather; and both paternal grandparents. Brad will be dearly missed by his loving family.
