Bonnie Marie Johnson

Bonnie Marie Johnson passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at Big Meadows Nursing Home in Savanna, Illinois. Cremation rites have been accorded and she will be laid to rest in Hamilton, Illinois with her family. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Bonnie was born July 17, 1944 in Keokuk, Iowa to James and Opel (Clayton) Fox. She had five sisters, Wanda Norris, Shirley Fox, Elizabeth Statler, Judy Bigsby, and Patricia Bigsby, and one brother, James Fox. Bonnie lived most of her life in Macomb, Illinois.

Bonnie was a homemaker. She loved working on puzzle books and spending time with her grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Gina Johnson; her grandchildren, Michael Jr. Drake, Devin, Trever, Maranda, Remi, Samantha and Anthony, Keiley, and J’lee; and four great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, her brother, her daughter Tina Pilkington and son Richard Johnson, and granddaughter, Megan.
