Beulah was born March 22, 1909 in Reeseville, Iowa, the daughter of Louis and Mary (Ploen) Clausen. She attended the Reeseville Country School. On November 25, 1930 in Clinton, Iowa, Beulah married Walter Ockelmann. She farmed with her husband in Miles, Iowa. Beulah loved baking. She worked as a cook at the Miles - East Central School for several years. She also enjoyed all kinds of needle crafts.
Beulah will be dearly missed by a son, Donald (Delores) Ockelmann of Davenport, Iowa; a daughter, Dianne (Robin) Snyder of Sabula, Iowa; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Beulah is preceded in death by her husband; a son, Darvin; five brothers and three sist
