Barbara Winona Watts passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Big Meadows Nursing Home, in Savanna, IL.
Barb was born May 2, 1947, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Raymond “Victor” and Frances “Mary” (Marr) Anderson. She attended Camanche schools. She married Robert Harmon and had three sons and one daughter. She later married Thomas Watts and had two daughters.
She spent her life caring for others as a daughter, wife, mother, and nurse. She worked as a CNA and cared for patients until retiring to take much-deserved time for herself.
Barb adored her family and loved telling stories about her mom and dad. She was incredibly smart and independent. She was tough when she needed to be, yet gentle and kind. She loved animals, holidays, and backroad drives. She loved listening to music, reading books, writing poetry, puzzles, and art.
Barbara is survived by her brother Byrl (Susie) Swanson and four children Douglas Harmon, Todd (Denola) Harmon, Sarah (Charles) Hastings, and Elizabeth (Timothy) Schlosser. She is survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, two former husbands, one daughter Pami Jo, one son Terry Lee, two sisters Mary Kay Dittmar and Judy Jent.
