Augustus Charles “Gus” Paisley. Age 27, of Fulton, Illinois, previously of Thomson, Illinois died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at home. Gus loved spending time with his friends and family, especially treasuring the time he spent with his children, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Thomson. Burial will be in lower York Cemetery, Thomson. Visitation will be held 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established for the family.
Gus was born June 6, 1987 in Savanna, Illinois, the son of Charles W. and Teresa S. (Nicely) Paisley, Jr.. He is a 2006 West Carroll graduate. On June 22, 2009, Gus married Amanda Kay Green in Mt. Carroll, Illinois.
Gus loved being with his family, his 2000 Cadillac, listening to music, playing X-box, his pet spider, Halloween, skateboarding, Chinese food, his long hair, and cutting it for Locks of Love. Gus worked as a Pallet Wrapper for Skyline in Clinton, Iowa.
Gus will be dearly missed by his wife, Amanda Paisley of Fulton; their four children, Amarantha (9), Mathias (7), Tarik (6) and Clarabelle (4); his parents, Charles and Teresa S. Paisley, Jr. of Thomson; three sisters, Angela (Brian) von Thun of Tipton, Iowa, Jessica (Jeffrey Pawlik) Paisley of Thomson and Mary Paisley of Savanna; and several nieces and nephews, Cheyenne (14), Christian (14), Seven (12) and Samara (11) von Thun, Hailie (14) and Xavier (10) Pawlik, Travis (13) and Dalton (12) Paisley and Austin (15) Barnes. Gus is preceded in death by his Great-Grandma and Grandpa Yenney; Grandpa Charles Paisley; Grandma Mary Bell Eagle; Aunt Waushara Eagle; cousin Katrina Bell Eagle; father-in-law, Ray Green; and best friend/brother Thor Karlberg.
