Arthur Lewis Moring

Arthur L. Moring, age 96, formerly of Savanna, Illinois, died September 16, 2005 at his residence in Fulton, Illinois. His wishes were to be cremated and inurnment will be at the Savanna Township Cemetery. There will be no services available for the public. Arthur was born April 15, 1909, the son of Frederick and Freda (Abels) Moring, in Grundy Center, Iowa. Arthur married Alma Sanders. Alma passed away September 18, 2000. For a number of years, Arthur worked for the Maintenance Department at the Mississippi-Palisades State Park, Savanna.
Arthur will be deeply missed by his two sons, Marvin Moring of Citrus Springs, FL and Eugene (Sally) Moring of Oregon, IL; two daughters, Lorraine Hiscox of Coolidge, AZ and Donna (Eugene) Smith of Lady Lake, FL; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Arthur’s wife, Alma Moring, precedes him in death.
