Arlene J. “Blondie” Wilson-Kish, age 85, of Savanna, Illinois, died, Friday, October 29, 2010 at FHN Memorial Hospital, Freeport, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna, with Pastor Michael Jones officiating. Burial will be in Savanna Township Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna. Arlene was born on August 2, 1925, the daughter of Herman and Minnie (Bornack) Diettman in Bensenville, Illinois. She attended Savanna School’s. On January 1, 1944 Arlene married Cline Wilson in Galena, Illinois. Cline died October 19, 1975 in Savanna. On June 2, 1979 Arlene married James Kish. James died June 28, 1987 in Savanna. Arlene worked at Savanna Army Depot, various restaurants in Savanna and Eaton Corporation in Savanna. She was a member of Savanna Moose Lodge. Arlene loved her poodles, cross stitching, and the Chicago Cubs. Most important to Arlene was the time she spent with her family.Arlene will be dearly missed by her three sons; Robert (Ruth) Wilson of Savanna, Wayne (Sharon) Wilson of Baileyville, Illinois and Ronald (Renee) Wilson of Savanna; two daughters, Bonnie (David) Long of Locust Grove, Virginia and Joy Ann (Michael) Calvert of Clinton, Iowa; nineteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; her son, Terry Wilson; a brother; two sisters and a stepbrother, Oliver Whittmer.
