Anthony “Tony” Ray Eldrenkamp, age 58, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, on Monday, May 31, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 1:45 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Law-Jones Funeral Home in Savanna, Illinois. A memorial fund has been established in Tony’s memory.
Tony was born November 22, 1957, in Savanna, the son of Lloyd and Carol (Salvatore) Eldrenkamp. Tony attended Savanna High School. He worked for the Milwaukee Railroad in Savanna, he later went to work for ADM in Clinton as a feed operator supervisor for ten years. On August 30, 1978, Tony married the love of his life Jeannine Anderson in Kahoka, Missouri.
Tony taught every child, niece, nephew and friend how to fish, camp and boat. He always made sure to have an apple or an orange in his pocket for his grandkids. Most of all, Tony cherished the time he spent with his family.
Tony is survived by his is loving wife, Jeaninne of Clinton; two daughters, Casondra (Chris Teske) Eldrenkamp, Christina (Will VanderNaald) Main of Clinton; son, Anthony Ernest Ray (DeMerle Seymour) of Clinton; eight grandchildren, Devon, Aubrey, Kylee Anna, Mackenzie, Keithan, Phoebe, Caleb, Casey; mother, Carol Eldrenkamp of Savanna; two sisters, Tina (Mike) Bullis of Clinton, Annette (Jay) Miller of Savanna and a brother, Roy Eldrenkamp. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd and his grandparents.
