Annalisa Lillian Green, age 93, of Lake Carroll, Illinois, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, died Thursday, April 10, 2014. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Medinah Country Club: 6N001 Medinah Road, Medinah, IL 60157. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in Lillian’s memory to Joni & Friends Disability Ministry, Chicago Chapter: 915 Harger Rd. Suite 210, Oak Brook, IL 60523. Lillian was born July 28, 1920, to Algot and Bertha (Nelson) Carlson in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Lakeview High School and graduated with the Class of 1938. She married John Foster Green III on June 14, 1941 in Chicago. John died April 4, 1999 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Lillian worked as a Chairwoman for Compact Industries in St. Charles, Illinois for 14 years. She was a member of the Medina Country Club in Medina, Illinois, the Mayocoo Lakes Country Club and the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida. She belonged to the Royal Poinciana Chapel of Palm Beach. Lillian adored her family, and loved her life at the lake.
Lillian will be dearly missed by one son, John F. (Karen) Green of Elburn, Illinois; two daughters, Ronni (Donald) Brown, of Wheaton, Illinois and Patricia Green of Lake Carroll, Illinois; five grandchildren, Michael Brown, Tracey Brown, Amanda Kral, Erika Kral and John Green; and four great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Michael, Ava, and Sienna.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, John, and two sisters, Astrid and Violet.
