Alice M. Osborn

Alice M. Osborn, age 71, of Savanna, Illinois, died Thursday, January 5, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family. A service will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna with visitation held prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. at the funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home. Burial will be 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon in Evergreen Cemetery, Shullsburg, Wisconsin.
Alice was born March 4, 1940, in Shullsburg, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Olive (Stevens) Negus. She graduated from Shullsburg High School. Alice married George Osborn on August 17, 1978.
Alice worked for the Eaton Corporation and retired from Invensys in Hanover, Illinois. She loved spending time outdoors in her flower gardens. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family.
Alice is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, George; two sons, Gary (Angie) Shellenberger of Merrill, Wisconsin, Lloyd (Marcella) Shellenberger of Los Angeles, California; one step-son, Derek Osborn of Savanna; one step-daughter, Debra (Buck) Robinson of Savanna; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Donald (Colleen) Negus of Janesville, Wisconsin, Clarence (Melda) Negus of Janesville. Alice is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bill Jack and James; two sisters, Betty and Delores.
