Alice A. (Winkler) Behn
10/30/57 – 2/14/24

At home on the farm Wednesday, February 14th, 2024, Alice “Allie” Behn had passed on, surrounded by love of so many. Countless amounts of people have special memories of what Alice loved, to share a few: Allie cherishes Dar, her children, grandchildren and family. She loved many and considered many family.

Her passions were horses, trail rides, living on the farm, her little buddy Bruno and making things special for all. She enjoyed a good time and the time with friends. Her birds and pictures brought her great joy and won ribbons for her photography at the Jackson County Fairs.

Alice has gone to join her Mother Joyce (Leigh) Winkler and Father in Law Wesley Behn. She will be watching over her greatest loves still with us, the love of her life, Darwin Behn. Her Father greatly admired Damian (June) Winkler. A caring Mother in Law, Caroline Behn. Children/Grandchildren: Jamie (Griep) Brandon, Oliver, Emelia Bowman and R.J., Alyssa, Damian and Joslyn Griep. Siblings: Mike (Karla) Winkler, Dorothy (Clint) Petersen, Mark Winkler, Suzie (Frank) Winkler and best friend Cousin Amy (Jim) Horst. Brother and sister in laws: Dale (Kathy) Behn, Kenny Behn, Sharon (Jeff) Borman. Also greatly loved: all her nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, friends and community.

Funeral Service will be 11am Tuesday, February 20th. Visitation will be 9 - 11am, Tuesday with a luncheon following the service, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Preston, Iowa.
