Alfred Walter Madison, age 81 of Savanna, Illinois died on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Big Meadows Nursing Home, Savanna. Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Al was born on November 7, 1928, in Savanna, Illinois, the son of Walter and Christine (Sabroe) Madison. He graduated from Savanna High School and the Rockford school of business.
His hobbies included photography and watching basketball games. For over fifty years, Al was a stats and scorekeeper for Savanna Little League Baseball and High School sports, it was a job he loved doing.
Al is survived by five nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews; and three very special friends, LeeAnn, Nikk and Celsa.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved daughter Krystel Leigh Madison; two brothers Bob and George; four sisters, Mabel, Dorothy, Margaret and Norma; two nephews and two great nieces.
