SAVANNA, Ill. — Charles “Tom” “Fat Kid” Sipes, age 53, of Savanna, Illinois, died Thursday, January 21, 2010, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Antl Hall, Savanna. Burial will follow at the Center Hill Cemetery, rural Mt. Carroll, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, at the Law – Jones Funeral Home, Savanna, and for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Antl Hall. Memorials may be directed to the family.
