Nancy Ann Haas

Nancy Ann Haas age 62 of Stockton, Illinois, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Elizabeth, Illinois, with a visitation held an hour prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in Woodbine Cemetery, Woodbine, Illinois. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Law-Jones Funeral Home in Elizabeth. A memorial fund has been established in Nancy’s memory. Nancy was born August 13, 1955 in Freeport, Illinois the daughter of John and Lorraine (Townsend) Haas. She attended Elizabeth High School and graduated with the Class of 1973. Nancy worked for Dura Automotive in Stockton, for many years. She has worked for Massbach Winery in Galena, Illinois in the tasting room recently.

Nancy was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Stockton and a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Elizabeth. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, knitting and baking. Most of all, Nancy loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Nancy will be dearly missed by her dear friend, Dan Dyer of Stockton; three children, Dustin (Tamara) Gallagher of Tinley Park, Illinois, Wendy (Dusty) Luke of Stockton, Greg (Felicia) Gallagher of Dunlap, Illinois; six grandchildren, Gracie, Jeremiah and Silas Luke, Clarissa, Samuel and Genevieve Gallagher; four siblings, Greg (Jeneile) Haas of Elizabeth, Cindy (Gene) Eichmeier of Freeport, Illinois, Lloyd (Lisa) Haas of Elizabeth and James (Ann) Haas of Byron, Illinois. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
