Lydia is survived by her spouse, Shawn Law and three children: Matthew, Shannan and Benjamin; her mother, Luisa Cadriel, father Joe Perez, brother Joe Perez, Jr., and three sisters: Anna, Jo Ann, and Trish.
Lydia has always been very active, and highly motivated. She joined the Air Force where she met her husband Shawn, and they were married on June 15, 1988. She then returned to her studies and became a Medical Lab Tech for about seven years. She was equally active in faith, joining the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was baptized by Pastor Gresham in Fort Worth, Texas.
Living life to the fullest included having her three children at home with a midwife, and homeschooling all three of them. She chose to invest her life in her family, and passed on her love for learning to her three brilliant children. She volunteered in homeschool group activities with Pathfinders, feeding homeless at her local church, and also with the American Legion. She enjoyed early morning walks and talks with the Lord, and loved seeing her very own organic garden grow to produce food for her family. In many of her endeavors, she researched and studied on her own, and was self-taught. She makes her family, and those who knew her very proud to call her Mom, Wife, Sister, Daughter, and Friend.
