Dale John Henfrey, 78, of Green Island, IA, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Harmony House, Clinton, IA. A private graveside service will be held. Burial will be at the St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Sabula, IA.
Dale was born April 29, 1938 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of John and Clara (Clark) Henfrey. He married Sharon Schultz on January 7, 1961 in Clinton, IA, she died in 2006. He was employed by International Paper until his retirement in 2001. Dale was an avid outdoorsman, farmer and loved spending time with his family.
Dale is survived by his children Mark (Candace) of Maquoketa, IA, Mike (Anita) of Bryant, IA, Mitchell (Tom) of Santa Fe, NM, Marietta (Scott) Rowton of San Angelo, TX, and Marcia (Brian) Ralston of Clinton, IA; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary (Bruce) Snopek of Preston, IA, Howard (Vicki) of Broken Arrow, OK, Joan (Lynn) Budde of Preston, IA, James (Ann) Jochum of Bettendorf, IA, Lester (Paula) Jochum of Kingman, AZ, Jean (Jim) Vicks of Clinton, IA, Julie Trenkamp of Bellevue, IA, Jerry (Mary) Jochum of Mesquite, TX, Jon (Carla) Jochum of Miles, IA. He was preceeded in death by his parents, wife and brother Alan Henfrey.
