Joy Maupin

Joy M. Maupin, age 42, of Savanna, Illinois died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa. A private family service will be held, with inurnment at Spring Lake cemetery at a later date.
Joy was born April 7, 1971, the daughter of Harold and Rose (Bond) Maupin in Monroe, Wisconsin. She was a homemaker, and a creative artist who enjoyed drawing, music, and watching movies. She cherished spending time with her daughter, Cinnamon, her cats, and her dog, Reese.
Joy will be deeply missed by her fiancé, Richard Schumann; one daughter, Cinnamon Schumann; and one brother Markley “Mark” Maupin, all of Savanna.She is preceded in death by her father, Harold; her stepmother, Judy; and an infant son, Brandon Maupin.
