David was a loving husband and father. He was a hardworking, simple man who raised his family on a dairy farm that he was proud of. He enjoyed raising longhorn cattle and chickens, fishing in his farm ponds, listening to the frogs on his patio and gardening, especially his turnip patch. He loved riding and breaking his own horses, coon hunting (he was one of the best), four-wheeling, Wild Irish Rose wine, fish fries and hanging out with his hunting buddies.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Ruby, one brother, Carl, and one son-in-law, David Ruff.
