Annabelle Lee Mcginty

Annabelle Lee McGinty, 45, of Chadwick, Illinois, passed away on January 5, 2025 at the hospice house in Sterling, Illinois after a three-year battle with cancer.
Annabelle was known for her quick wit, love of sewing and cooking, and deep devotion to her family, especially her children. She was described as strong, independent, beautiful, kind, and fiercely protective of those she loved. She was adventurous and always willing to take on new challenge. Annabelle always rooted for the Cubs.
Annabelle was born on May 13, 1979 in Morrison, Illinois to Shawn and Norma (Coyle) McGinty. She attended school in Savanna and later earned her GED.
Annabelle is survived by her two children, Presley Nellish of Chadwick and Lennon Baker of Stockton; her parents, Shawn McGinty of Chadwick and Norma Williams of Savanna; and her two siblings, Naomi (Wes) Coverdill of Oneida, Illinois and Dave McGinty of Chadwick. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Yvonne McGinty and Thomas (Thelma) Coyle, and other loved family members.
A private family service will be held, with burial in the Lower York Cemetery in Thomson, Illinois. Annabelle will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
