Brenda Sue Clark Obituary
Brenda Sue Clark, age 52, of Preston, Iowa, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Preston. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 17, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Preston. Burial will follow in the Miles Cemetery, Miles, Iowa.
Brenda was born August 28, 1959, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Winston H. and Mary E. (Giddings) Clark. She graduated from Preston High School with the Class of 1977. Brenda worked various jobs in the area and she enjoyed her work in childcare. Brenda was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Preston and the American Legion Auxiliary in Miles, Iowa. She enjoyed walking and all types of music, she could always be heard singing wherever she was. Most importantly, Brenda enjoyed the time spent with her family, especially her nieces and nephew.
Brenda is survived and lovingly remembered by her mother, Mary Clark of Preston, Iowa; her siblings, Ray (Diane) Clark of Walcott, Iowa, Sherry (Don) Luskey of Charlotte, Iowa, Kevin Clark of Preston, Iowa, and Doug Clark of Dewitt, Iowa; her grandmother, Viola Giddings of Sabula, Iowa; and her nieces and nephew, Amy Luskey, Tashell Clark, Tanner Clark, and Reilly Clark.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Winston H. Clark; one brother, Randy; and one sister – in – law, Diane.
